High frequency technology rely on pressing and making materials more plastic to be joined.
The materials are placed between two metal bars that are capacitor electrodes, thanks to them electromagnetic field is applied which starts process of heating and joing the materials.
After this process of cooling is taking place and then we may take out welded materials.
Typical dielectric materials are poliable for polarization process |
in electromagnetic field (setting in order electric units according to the line of electromagnetic field).
The dynamic electric field causes the molecules in polar thermoplastics to oscillate. Depending on their geometry and dipole moment, these molecules may translate some of this oscillatory motion into thermal energy and cause heating of the material. Thanks to this process we may do some of materials more plastic.
Efficiency of welding process depends on anode current frequency and ratio of dielectric waste. The level of changing
|
electric energy into thermal energy increase with tg Ro value which makes welding much better. This metode is used esspecialy in fusing PVC materials because of big ratio dielectric waste. In comparison from other metodes this metode enable to do various kinds of soild and very high quality welds from PVC foil.
The resulting weld may be as strong as original material. Because of electric charge danger it is not recommended to weld foil with thickness smaler then 0,1mm. |
